2014-2015 LCA School Theme
What is truth? That question posed by Pilate some 2,000 years ago when Jesus was on trial is no different than the question that students face in classrooms today. In his book, The Aboltion of Man, C.S. Lewis once said, ""We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst." At LCA, we believe that God has called us to be warriors of truth in our post-modern culture. Truth by its very nature is transcultural, unchanging, and absolute. This year our goal is to challenge each student to walk in truth so that we may be able to say as John said in 3 John 4, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."
Today's generation faces a moral and spiritual battle unlike any generation before them. We, as parents, have been given orders to effectively train warriors of truth to battle the godless philosophies of today. This training must involve a rigorous academic curriculum that challenges students to be all that God intends, while equipping them with the tools to engage their culture with confidence. Our mission is to challenge the worldview of every student with the unchanging truth of God's Word.
Kingdom Education, a "life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child into a new identity with Christ", is the model we strive to implement at Liberty Christian Academy. This model can only be accomplished by bringing the home, church, and school together to educate and equip the next generation with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for effective Christian service.
We look forward to the opportunity of visiting with you and your family on our campus. If we can assist you with any other information, feel free to contact the school office at 910-424-1205.
